Joint Ukrainian-German enterprise «Eleсtrontrans» will produce trolleybus and electrobus

JV «Electrontrans» in 2014 will produce and release on the street of the city Lviv new electrobus and trolleybus that will run all day only on batteries.

The first trolleybus with the brand «Electron» will be made till the end of this year, and his trial will begin in spring 2014. At the same time it is planned to manufacture electrobus, for operation of the electrobus it isn't required to a network of substations – it`s stores of energy of high capacity will be charged for night (much lower) tariff. On electrobus will be installed motors with cooling. Run of such electrobus on maximal cruising range on stores without recharge will make 280-300 km.
