Public testing tram «Electron» on accessibility for people with disabilities

The head of fund of rehabilitation of people with limited opportunities, the coordinator of the Barrier-free Ukraine program Yaroslav Grybalsky together with the Hero of Ukraine, the chairman of National Assembly of disabled people of Ukraine Valery Sushkevichom showed how feels the person on a carriage in transport of a new sample.

«Tram– is modern, you can easilyenter, but also mother with a child and elderly person, and a man in a wheelchair. There is electronic information board. With other words there is a picture for those who can`t thear the sound also for those who can`t see-said Jaroslav Hrybalsky. This is the best example of what has been done». Valery Sushkevich as the chairman of Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for pensioners, veterans and disabled people, is interested that such trams plied also in other cities of Ukraine. Today this tram conforms to requirements of Rules of the UN regarding ensuring transportation of persons with limited ability of movement, and also are fulfilled requirements of the Convention of the UN about the rights of people with disability.
