New tram and trolleybus for Lviv

Soon «Electrontrans» JV will transfer two units of transport – a new
3-section low floor tram and a trolleybus – the first one, produced in the
enterprise, to the LKP «Lvivelectrotrans».
A
new T3L44 «Electron» 3-section tram has 35
seats and is intended for 160 passengers. There is a place for transportation
of
disabled person.
Due
to recuperation system it is possible to save to 40% electric power.
The tram is able to move without contact network up to 1 km at a speed
of
5 km/h, using the charge of standard storage
batteries.
T-19
«Electron» trolleybus
is intended for 106 passengers, there are 34 seats and a place for a
wheelchair. It is equipped with an air-conditioner, external and internal
surveillance cameras. Reserve of autonomic motion is 3 km. The trolleybus meets European Union
requirements.
By the
end of the year the enterprise is also going to transfer to Lviv an electric
bus – a vehicle, which does not need a contact network.
